This duo – piano and double bass – explores the lyrical landscapes that Scandinavian jazz is known for.

Jazz returns to Cap Horn
For many years, Cap Horn was known as a place where jazz had its natural place in the evening – and now we are bringing live jazz back into the restaurant.
Cap Horn has been part of life in Nyhavn for centuries. In the 1950s, it was among the places in Copenhagen where jazz flourished, with musicians gathering for regular performances and jam sessions. Among them were members of Papa Bue's Viking Jazzband, later one of the most prominent names in Danish traditional jazz.
At the time, Nyhavn was a vibrant environment for sailors, artists, and musicians, and Cap Horn served as a meeting point where food, wine, and music came together.
Today, our live jazz evenings continue that tradition – not as a concert venue, but as a restaurant with live music in the heart of Nyhavn.
We look forward to welcoming you.
