Cap Horn offers a very good location and perfect surroundings for any occasion and celebration. We welcome you both before, during and after Christmas and we look forward to welcoming you and your guests.

CAP HORN'S CHRISTMAS TASTING

Served on large dishes at the table.

First Serving

HERRING
Onion herring made with herring fillets, red onion, capers and dill.
Side: Curry cream with egg and apples

SALMON
Smoked salmon served with a herbs cream, dill and lemon.

The first serving comes with bread and butter.
 
Second Serving

3 WARM DISHES
Warm meatballs with pickled gherkins.
Rib roast with crisp crackling, pickled red cabbage and potatoes
Warm paté with roasted mushrooms, crisp bacon and home-pickled beetroots.

Add:
Duck confit served with apples, prunes and a sauce made from the braising stock.+ DKK 50.

Third Serving

CHEESE
Organic cheese with the accompaniment of the day.

Fourth Serving

THE DANISH CLASSIC
Ris à l’amande with organic cream and warm homemade cherry sauce.

WELCOME
Union Vinicola del Este, Cava, Macabeo, Chardonnay, Italy

SOUP
Jerusalem artichoke soup served with apples, crisp bacon and truffle oil.
Konrad, Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand

DUCK
Confit duck thigh served with apples, prunes, warm red cabbage, butter-roasted potatoes and a duck sauce.
Cristia, Côte du Rhône, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, France

RICE PUDDING
The Danish rice pudding, Ris à l’amande, is made with cream, rice and almonds and served with warm cherry sauce.

½ LOBSTER
The lobster is boiled with dill and served chilled with homemade dill mayonnaise and organic lemon.
Served with roasted organic farmers bread.

VENISON
Red deer fillet served pink with walnuts, raisins, organic carrots, butternut squash, ricotta, small roasted potatoes and glace.
Barbaresco Riserva, Luca Bosio, Piemonte

CHEESE
A selection of two organic cheeses with todays accompaniments.
Port.

CHOCOLATE CAKE
Chocolate cake made of rich Belgian chocolate served with chocolate mousse and vanilla ice cream.
