Cap Horn offers the perfect blend of cozy charm and culinary quality in the atmospheric setting of Nyhavn. Whether you're planning a special celebration or a casual gathering with friends, our group and banquet menus ensure a delightful dining experience that highlights the season’s finest ingredients, prepared with care and attention to detail.

Our menus are designed to suit different tastes with lunch menus and options for 2- or 3-course dinners. Add an extra festive touch with a Champagne welcome, or let us create a tailored wine pairing to complement your chosen dishes.

Please note:

  • Bookings must be placed at least 4 business days in advance.

  • The same dishes must be chosen for the entire party. We, of course, take allergies and dietary restrictions into account.

  • Choose one of our drink packages to accompany your menu or let us pair a wine menu with the selected dishes.

  • Garnishes may vary slightly depending on seasonal availability. We always strive to use the freshest ingredients, so some adjustments may occur to enhance your dining experience.

Champagne welcome: 175 DKK per person
Start your evening with champagne and homemade, crispy shrimp croquettes with aioli.

Coffee & cake: 100 DKK per person
1 piece chef´s choice of danish pastry. Includes filtered still and sparkling water, French press coffee, and house tea.

Lunch menu

Open Sandwiches: 225 DKK per person
2 pieces of chef’s choice of traditional open sandwiches.

2-course menu:
295 DKK per person

Enjoy our traditional, Danish lunch consisting of our favorites from the kitchen. Served with organic bread and butter.

- Handpeeled shrimp with lemon mayo
- Traditional Danish meatballs with potato salad
- Grav lax (salmon) with mustardsauce and smoked cheese spread
- De-constructed cheesecake with seasonal compote and crumble for dessert

Evening menu

2-course menu: 375 DKK per person

3-course menu: 475 DKK per person

STARTERS
- Grav lax (salmon) with mustard sauce and smoked cheese spread
- Beef tartare with dijon mustard, cognac, horseradish and cornichons
- Burrata with San Marzano tomatoes, red onions and chives

MAIN COURSES
- Butterfried plaice
with brown butter, apple, capers, nuts and new potatoes
- Striploin with tomato compot, red wine glaze and french fries
- Pearl barley risotto with broccoli, spinach and vesterhavs cheese

DESSERTS
- De-constructed cheesecake with seasonal compote and crumble
- Gateau Marcel chocolate cake with homemade vanilla ice cream, coulis and crunch

House wine — our good wines: 450 DKK per person
House white wine, red wine, draught beer and soft drinks for 1.5 hours. Includes filtered water, French press coffee and tea.

Wine from the middle shelf — our better wines: 550 DKK per person
White wine and red wine from the middle shelf, draught beer and soft drinks for 1.5 hours. Includes filtered water, French press coffee and tea.

Wine from the top shelf — our better wines: 700 DKK per person
