In the heart of Nyhavn, you’ll enjoy both dinner and celebration – surrounded by historic charm, a glowing fireplace, and true holiday spirit. Whether you’re colleagues, friends, or part of an association, we create the perfect setting for your Christmas lunch or dinner.

Unique setting, classic dining, and space for celebration

Christmas at Cap Horn is something truly special. We combine the best of the traditional Danish Christmas table with seasonal, high-quality ingredients. Our charming interiors, open fireplace, and the lively Nyhavn atmosphere create an unforgettable backdrop for your Christmas party in Copenhagen. We can accommodate up to 60 guests in the restaurant and have a private dining room available for up to 50 guests.

At Cap Horn, you get the best conditions for your Christmas party 2025: festive flavours, the city’s vibrant spirit, and Nyhavn’s unique atmosphere – all gathered in one celebration that brings together dining, cosiness, and festivity. We offer two different packages:

• Company Christmas dinner featuring a delicious Christmas menu and with the option to add a DJ – available every Friday and Saturday from 14 November 2025 and troughout December.

• Shared Christmas parties, where you dine with your group and then join other guests for a festive evening of music, dancing, and fun. The shared Christmas parties take place only on Friday 14 and 21 November 2025.

Christmas Menu 2025

Whether you book our company Christmas dinner or join one of our shared Christmas paries on evenings on Friday 14 and 21 November 2025, the dining experience remains the same. We serve a classic three-course Christmas menu, filled with everything we love about the season.

CAP HORN’S 3-COURSE CHRISTMAS MENU

Welcome:
- A welcome drink with aperitif and snacks

Starter:
- Curry herring · pickled onions · mustard seeds · burnt egg

Main Course:
- Duck leg confit · red cabbage salad · duck sauce · potato compote

Dessert:
- Risalamande (rice pudding) · chopped roasted almonds · warm cherry sauce

We also offer a vegetarian Christmas menu.

Company Christmas Dinner

Celebrate this year’s company Christmas party in style. Enjoy the warm and festive atmosphere of the restaurant with smaller groups, or gather your colleagues in a private room upstairs if you’re a larger party. Bookings are open every Friday and Saturday from November 14, and throughout December 2025.

Price: 1,600 kr. pr. person 

We offer a complete evening with a welcome drink and snacks, a 3-course Christmas menu and drinks. Look forward to a full evening of Christmas cheer starting at 7:30 PM:

• Welcome aperitif and snacks

• 3-course Christmas menu

• Drinks during dinner (Draft beer, selected wines, soft drinks, coffee, and still or sparkling water – ad libitum during the dinner for 2 hours).

• Open Bar from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Draft beer, selected wines, selected drinks (G&T, R&C, V&J), soft drinks, and still or sparkling water).

Christmas party — shared celebration

For those who want to combine a private dinner with a shared party with others guests – only available to book on Friday 14 and 21 November 2025.

Price: DKK 1,800 per person

Enjoy dinner at your own table and end the evening with a DJ, dance floor, and a festive atmosphere together with other cheerful guests. Look forward to a full evening of Christmas cheer starting at 7:30 PM:

• Welcome aperitif and snacks

• 3-course Christmas menu

• Drinks during dinner
  Draft beer, selected wines, soft drinks, coffee, and still or sparkling water – ad libitum during the dinner for 2 hours.

• Open Bar from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Are you a smaller group?

If you're a smaller party looking for a cozy lunch or evening with classic Danish food in warm and intimate surroundings, we also offer a traditional Christmas lunch or 3-course dinner – with the option to add drinks packages.

Please note:

• All party and group menus are for a minimum of 10 guests and must be ordered at least 5 weekdays before the event.

• The same menu must be chosen for all guests, unless there are vegetarians, allergies, or other special dietary requirements in the party.

• We reserve the right to change menus according to available deliveries.

• We will always seat parties and groups together. In the case of large groups, seating may take place at more than one table. We will do our best to accommodate special requests, but we cannot guarantee specific seating areas in advance.

• For parties of 10 guests or more, we kindly ask that payment is made as a single transaction for the entire group. We are not able to process individual payments for larger groups, as this helps ensure a smooth experience for both your party and our other guests.

• Please note that a fee will be charged for payments made with corporate cards or cards issued outside the EU/EEA.
