Christmas at Cap Horn is something special – full of flavour, warmth and historic charm. Right in the heart of Christmas-decorated Nyhavn, Cap Horn offers a unique setting for your Christmas lunch or dinner in 2026. Here you can enjoy classic Danish Christmas food served in our atmospheric surroundings with an open fireplace, characterful interiors and views of the water.
Our Christmas lunch is available from 13 November 2026. Whether you are a small group of friends or a larger company, we look forward to creating the perfect setting for a cosy and flavourful lunch or evening with Christmas at its heart. Choose from two festive options:

The Large Christmas Lunch
Served in small bowls on a platter with bread and butter.
1st Course
Gravlax with mustard dill sauce
Matjes herring with egg salad and fresh chives
Smoked mackerel with egg yolk crème
Skagen salad with bleak roe and fresh dill
2nd Course
Meatballs with potato salad and lingonberries
Home-baked liver pâté with pickles

Langoustine bisque with langoustine salad and fresh herbs

Confit duck leg with Pommes Robuchon, pickled cabbage and classic red wine sauce

Planning a Christmas party for your company or a larger group? We offer a complete evening with a welcome, the large Christmas lunch, free-flow drinks and the option to add a DJ and late night snacks – all in Cap Horn's atmospheric surroundings in Nyhavn.

For parties of 10 guests or more, we will always seat the group together. For larger parties, several tables may be used. While we cannot guarantee a specific area of the restaurant, we will always do our best to accommodate special requests.
A single payment is required for parties of 10 guests or more. To ensure a smooth experience for both your party and our other guests, we are unfortunately unable to process individual payments for larger groups.
